Employed by Shepherd Engineering Services of York, the project comprises the construction of a new milk processing plant for United Milk at Westbury, Wiltshire.
The plant is designed to process raw milk into powdered milk and butter for sale in the European Union.
The building is extremely complex in design and Jet's Brief was to provide heating and ventilation to the powder store, raw materials store and silo areas. 2 JET air induction systems will be installed, with air handling plant installed within the rooftop plant rooms.
The AHUís are supplied from the on-site steam distribution system at pressures of 3 and 5 bar. The JET system was selected by SES as the most efficient and cost-effective method for heating the stores and silo areas. United Milk will be the third project carried out for Shepherd Engineering Services who have had first hand experience of the benefits the JET system can offer.
